These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ringtailgear.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from RINGTAIL GEAR, a brand of GARN PROVISIONS LLC ("we," "us," "our"), an Arizona-based business that makes handcrafted bags and pouches and also sells outdoor gear and accessories. By using the Site, signing up for our emails or texts, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Our handmade products are made in small batches, so small variations in stitching, fabric, color and dimensions are normal and part of the character of each piece — they are not defects. We try to show colors, materials and sizes accurately, but your screen may not display colors exactly. Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time without notice. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct errors in prices or descriptions, including after an order is placed.
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy the products at the listed price. An order confirmation email means we've received your order, not that we've accepted it. We may decline or cancel any order — for example, because of stock limits, pricing errors or suspected fraud — and if we do after you've been charged, we'll refund you in full.
Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify and its payment processors, and are also subject to their terms. You agree to provide accurate payment, contact and shipping information. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout.
We currently ship only within the United States. Processing and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the shipping carrier. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we'll help — see our Refund Policy and FAQ for details.
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
If you sign up for our emails or texts, you agree to receive marketing messages from us as described in our Privacy Policy. For texts: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our products are designed for everyday carry, outdoor and lifestyle use. They are not safety, life-support, climbing, load-rated or certified tactical equipment unless a product page says so. Use them sensibly, within their limits, and at your own risk.
Everything on the Site — including the RINGTAIL GEAR name and logo, product designs, photographs, graphics and text — is owned by or licensed to RINGTAIL GEAR and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission. You may share links to the Site and our products.
If you send us messages, photos, feedback or ideas, you confirm that you have the right to share them, and you let us use them to respond to you and to improve our products and Site. We won't publish your name or photos publicly without your permission.
You agree not to misuse the Site — including interfering with its operation, trying to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' information, scraping it with automated tools, submitting false orders, or using it for anything unlawful.
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services, such as Shopify, payment processors, carriers and social media. We're not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Except as stated in our Refund Policy or required by law, the Site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some states don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RINGTAIL GEAR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
You agree to defend and hold RINGTAIL GEAR harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or our products, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a problem comes up, please contact us first — most issues can be solved with a quick email. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to orders placed and use of the Site after they're posted.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and your purchases. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce any part isn't a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale of our business.
